No, it reads your cat's existing implanted microchip, so no collar tag, magnet or extra hardware is needed. An RFID collar tag is included for pets without a compatible chip.
How many cats can it store?
Up to 32, and it works with all common microchip formats, so it suits multi-cat households and even visiting registered pets.
Does it have an app?
The standard model does not, the curfew is set on the unit itself. For app control, remote locking and activity history, the SureFlap Connect with the hub adds those.
