Who is behind PetTechHQ
My name is Richard, and PetTechHQ is mine. I have lived with dogs since I was eight years old, mostly Spaniels of various breeds, and I am 47 now, so that is nearly four decades of owning, training and caring for them. Alongside that I have always loved technology. PetTechHQ is where those two interests meet. I built it because I wanted a place that compares pet tech properly, scores it consistently and explains the reasoning, rather than leaving buyers to wade through near-identical reviews. Every verdict here comes from someone who genuinely cares about getting it right for the pet and the owner.
How we stay independent
PetTechHQ is reader-supported. When you buy through a link on our site we may earn a commission, through Amazon and other affiliate programmes, at no extra cost to you. That funding never changes a score or a ranking. We rate products on the evidence, and a commercial relationship with a brand makes no difference to how it does in our method. How we work
We build out one category at a time, in depth, rather than covering everything thinly. Each product is researched from manufacturer specifications and the weight of owner and reviewer feedback, then scored against our published method. We update reviews as products change and as longer-term feedback emerges.
